September Wishlist

1. Millie Mackintosh's False Lashes - Shoreditch - £8.99
I've always had a major girl crush on Millie Mackintosh, so when she announced that she was coming out with her own brand of lashes, I went mad. I'm particularly drawn to the Shoreditch lashes because they remind me of the Ardell's Wispie lashes. Plus it's Millie Mackintosh, I have to buy something that is remotely connected with her. Obsessed is not the word.

2. MAC's Studio Fix Fluid - £21.50
Everyone talks about MAC Foundations are amazing and the quality and finish are flawless. I'm more of a fan of a semi matte finish because that's my preference and the Studio Fix Fluid is perfect for that. Another reason why I want to get a MAC Foundation is because of the range of colours they have, from cool shades to warmer shades. So it makes it that much easier to find your perfect shade.

3. Maybelline Baby Lips - £2.99
Now this has been the rage in the States for quite some time now. It's actually frustrating when they get beauty product's earlier than us Brits. At the moment I'm using the original Carmex and it's getting quite boring, the Baby Lip's comes in a range of smells, hydrations and shades depending on your mood. I'd prefer to get the 'Cherry Me' and 'Intense Care' for both the colour and moisture.

What is your wishlist for next month?

Barry M Gelly Nail Polish Review

If you read my Superdrug haul you'd know that I recently bought Barry M's Gelly Nail Polish in the shades 'Blood Orange' and 'Lychee'. I tried them both out for a whole week. Both colours were out of my comfort zone, the Blood Orange was very bright and the Lychee was a light shade of nude. Here are the swatches :)

Barry M. Gelly Hi-Shine in the shade 'Blood Orange'.

Barry M. Gelly Hi-Shine in the shade 'Lychee'.

What do you think guys? I'm really warming up to the Blood Orange rather than the Lychee. Just need to get used to them. Just the quality of these nail polishes are amazing!! So shiny and opaque. I didn't really need the clear coat afterwards, but I wanted them to last for a week. The clear polish definitely helped :)

My next two purchases would have to be the Plum and Blackberry. What shade would you want to get?

Day Out to The Doctor Who Experience

If you didn't know already I am a massive Doctor Who fan! So the other day I took a little trip from London to Cardiff. And let me tell you, this was not a short journey. Me and my friends took a coach all the way to Cardiff, and let me tell you it wasn't a short journey.

It took us 3 hours and 30 minutes to get there but it was worth it!

Which way to see the Daleks?

We're HEREEEEEEE!

DO NOT BLINK.

The Pandorica opens

The Silence are probably my favourite alien ever invented! They make you forget and they have sexy suits on! What's not to like?

River's belongings. I really want that book!

"All of time and space; everywhere and anywhere: every star that ever was. Where do you want to start?" - The Doctor

GIFT SHOP TIME! We spent ages in this shop. Picking things up. Putting them down. Then picking them back up again. I finally narrowed it to 4 things.

I bought the 11th Doctor's Sonic screwdriver (because he's my favourite). I also got the spinning Tardis, the door open and it makes the take off sound and the landing sound. The little lantern also flashes! I'm actually obsessed it's really bad. I also got a little Tardis keyring because no trip is complete without a keyring!

After our Experience, we went around Cardiff like little tourists. We got on the Ferris Wheel next to the Experience. The weather was absolutely perfect. The sky's were clear and not a cloud in sight.

The view's from the Ferris Wheel.

Cardiff is so beautiful.

A little boat trip to the City Centre.

On the way back. London Town!!!

Beautiful full moon to finish the night.

Review -Sleek Contour Kit

I have finally bought the Sleek Contour Kit in the shade medium. I bought this from Superdrug for £6.49 :)

Every time I put my face of make up on now, I have got to put this on! It genuinely puts the whole look together. It makes your face look sleek and chiselled, especially with a chubby face like mine haa. The medium shade is perfect for olive to darker skin tones, perfect for indian/asian skins.

The darker shade is matte, which means you can create that flawless contour without the dreaded glitter or shimmer. I find that although a shimmer gives you a more bronzed look; I'd rather have a matte finish that creates a more chiseled look. I just need to find that perfect brush to apply the contour with. I'm thinking that I should either get the Real Techniques Contour brush, but that comes with the Core Collection. So I'm thinking that I could use the Elf Blush Brush or any tapered brush, just to get into the hollows of the cheekbone. If you have any suggestions let me know :)

A Small Superdrug Haul

Went for a cheeky little trip to Superdrug. I was only meant to get face cream and I came out with a bit more haa. My skin is currently feeling quite crap at the moment. I'm breaking out and my skin is looking quite dull. This is probably because I've been drinking too much Coca-Cola :(

So I have bought three face masks (99p each)  just to pamper my skin after a long day. I got two different makes of Dead Sea face masks just to see which one suited my skin properly. I also got a peel off mask because they're just fun to use aha. Does anyone else try to peel it all in one piece?

My skin is feeling rather dry due to the weather, eczema is a bitch in the summer. I use the body wash from Aveeno, it's a clear liquid and foams up when worked into wet skin. I've have no problem with the body wash, so I thought wouldn't the face cream must be good as well. Aveeno is known to be very beneficial for dry skin as it has Oatmeal. Oatmeal has soothing element which helps to relieve irritated skin. I bought the Moisturising Cream for £6.99, which is quite a bump but it's worth it due to the dryness of my skin.

I also said my skin is also breaking out so I needed a semi-heavy duty face wash to help get rid of excess bacteria which causes spots and huge breakouts. The reason why I bought this face wash is because of the Exfoliating Brush that comes with it. The soft yet ductile bristles help work with the skin and face wash and leave a clean and clear skin. I've always found that Garnier's Pure Active range works really well with my skin especially when I break out. (£5.05)

Last but not least, NAIL VARNISH! I am an addict to nail varnish especially the Barry M range. From the normal nail paint to the gellies! I found that the Gelly collection has a quite range of colours, from brights to pastels to the deep dark colours. I want to collect all of them even though some might not suit me. When I saw these two colours I was in love!! The boldness of the 'Blood Orange' was incredible I've never seen such a beautiful shade of red. Now the 'Lychee' is making me quite sceptical just because of all the swatches I've seen, have been either on a colour wheel or a paler skin tone. But it's a matter of trying it and wearing it for a while to get used to the colour.

I'll probably buy the Plum or Pomegranate next! Get your Gelly's in Superdrug now, they're are '2 for £6' at the moment. Get it quick!!

August Wishlist

1. Topshop - Laurent Cross Over Platforms - £56
These shoes are amazing. On the website the model's legs look super toned and long. These can be paired with absolutely anything, like anything. They do look really high but the platform always makes it easier to walk in.

What beauty guru doesn't have this! It's such a beauty essential for creating a flawless contour. I always have a problem trying to find the right shade to contour my face with. The only brand which I know that do a matte, slightly darker tones is Sleek. So why not?!

Well this is a pricey skincare item! But the reviews for this is amazing. This is a cream which helps reduce hyper-pigmentation and help brighten up the face. My skin has broken out due to stress and just not maintaining my skincare routine. So maybe this could help for my skin problemos.

A week away

A few days ago, I went to Ravenstonedale for a little family trip away. Everyday we went to a different location but came back to our little rented cottage/house. Here are a few pictures from my week away.

On the road and here we go. It took about 6/7 hours to get to Ravenstonedale (with service breaks of course)

The cottage we stayed at was called Brownber House. It was the cutest cottage ever, 5 bedrooms enough for the big family. My favourite part of the cottage would be the living room, it had the biggest bookshelf with different genres. I saw some Jacqueline Wilson, J.K Rowling and even Suzanne Collins.

I can't remember if this was a Saturday or a Sunday but we went to Edinburgh! I think I go there every 2 years and it's always as beautiful as ever. Although we always tend to visit on the days that it's raining.

We also went for a drive round Lake District and just stopped every time we thought it's be interesting to visit and take pictures. I don't know why I get so excited about water flowing down a hill haa. The scenery is actually so breath taking. Beautiful.

A bit of ice cream in Windermere to keep the belly happy, so creamy and full of flavour.

JELLY BELLY!!!! How can I resisit! A pick and mix of Jelly Bellies, whaaaaaaa. This was the hardest decision ever, I didn'y know whether to go crazy with the flavour or keep it similar. I kept it simple of course, I'm no dare devil :(
My favourite would be the Lychee and Watermelon. Oh and the Cherry, can't forget the Strawberry or Tutti Fruitti! Ahhhhhh *dribble*

Lake Windermere. Perfect.

Me casually posing. I was obsessed with these sunglasses, they remind me of Edna from The Incredibles aha

The worst part of Lake District would probably be the rain. poop. But I still manage to crack a smile.

This waterfall is absolutely amazing. We had to walk down a half mile from the car park to get to this place. The rain just dulled down the beauty of the waterfall. If you ever go Lake District make sure you visit here, beautiful.
