NOTW - Barry M's Gelly Polish in Lychee
Ahh nothing feels better than a bit of nude polish. High shine polish in Lychee. Perfect for a bit of class. I wanted to add a bit of sparkle, so I used some silver and gold glitter polish and added them to my ring fingers and thumbs.

What I got for my 19th birthday
This post is up so late. I've just been busy with university things but let's forget that, onto the post! It was my birthday on the 31st of March and I got a few little pressies from my friends and families. I thought I should show you guys.
Nina Ricci L'Eau - A sweet light perfume. Perfect for the start for spring time.
"A fresh, fruity and floral fragrance. The freshness of frosted neroli, with also the softness and femininity of apple blossom, the sensuality of gardenia, and full bodied white musk... The breeze of youth, bright, light and sensual."
Barry M’s Gelly Polish - This polish is in the shade Huckleberry, which is part of their new shades for the Gelly collection. A lovely pale blue which kinda reminds me of easter eggs.
Topshop’s Nail Polish- Now this polish is a lovely off white shade, it almost has a tint of brown which gives it’s off white colour. It's called Exposed. Oooo sexyyy aha. I am almost surprised at the amazing quality of this polish. Two thin shades dried so quickly and was so opaque. Amazing.
MAC’s Diva - Oh my god. I’ve been waiting so long for this lipstick. I had saved up for this to buy at the end of the month, but my favourite person in the whole world surprised me with it as a present. I am in love with this lipstick, it’s a deep red brown toned lipstick. It has a matte finish and works well with my complexion. Can’t wait to wear this on nights out.
Real Techniques Duo Fibre Brushes - I love these so much. My old brushes were just a set from Costco I think, and when I washed them for the first time the hairs started to falling out. I was left with hair all over my face when I applied my powder or contour powder. So getting this for my birthday was very lucky. Muhaha. So happy with this, my favourite would have to be the powder brush, it glides onto my face very well and just makes applying powder a little bit special.

My Weekly Nailcare
Nearly every Friday I always remove my chipped off nail polish and start all over again with a fresh new lick of nail polish.
Time to moisturise those hands. I'm currently using Skin therapy's Intensive Hand and Nail cream which I got for 59p in Wilkinson. Bargain.
Moisture those cuticles with a rich cuticle cream. Dot the cuticle cream on your cuticles and rub in well. Lemony Flutter is my favourite at the moment just because of the scent. It smells exactly like lemons. You can get this in Lush for £6.50.
Once the hand cream and cuticle cream have absorbed into the hands, I then use some nail polish remover over my nails. This will get rid of any oily residue left from the creams.
Top coat time. Barry M's basecoat, topcoat and nail harder is a perfect 3 in 1 clear polish. Get it in either Boots or Superdrugs for £2.99.
I'm a bit weird when it comes to cutting and filing my nails. I prefer to have my clear coat on first then cut my nails and then file them down to get rid of any sharpness. I'm currently using Tesco's emery boards because they're cheaper and they last so long. I prefer using a bigger nail cutter because then it cuts straight in one go.

NOTW - Barry M's Raspberry
Christmas is almost upon us so you know what that means! Festive red nails! Ok I know it's a bit early but still, I love to be in a Christmas mood. I've already started singing Jingle Bell Rock and Silent Night (even though I don't know all the words to them) oops. So to get in the festive mood I'm currently wearing Barry M's Raspberry(£2.99). I have a bit of a problem with this colour, for some reason my bottle shows a lighter shade than others in the shops. But it oxidizes to become a much deeper red, which suits me perfectly.
It also comes to show that you don't need such elaborate nail art design to make your nails look all festive. But I might be trying out some festive nails soon. Comment below if you want me to show you my different options to creative your festive nails this season.

Barry M Gelly Nail Polish Review
If you read my Superdrug haul you'd know that I recently bought Barry M's Gelly Nail Polish in the shades 'Blood Orange' and 'Lychee'. I tried them both out for a whole week. Both colours were out of my comfort zone, the Blood Orange was very bright and the Lychee was a light shade of nude. Here are the swatches :)
Barry M. Gelly Hi-Shine in the shade 'Blood Orange'.
Barry M. Gelly Hi-Shine in the shade 'Lychee'.
What do you think guys? I'm really warming up to the Blood Orange rather than the Lychee. Just need to get used to them. Just the quality of these nail polishes are amazing!! So shiny and opaque. I didn't really need the clear coat afterwards, but I wanted them to last for a week. The clear polish definitely helped :)
My next two purchases would have to be the Plum and Blackberry. What shade would you want to get?

A Small Superdrug Haul
Went for a cheeky little trip to Superdrug. I was only meant to get face cream and I came out with a bit more haa. My skin is currently feeling quite crap at the moment. I'm breaking out and my skin is looking quite dull. This is probably because I've been drinking too much Coca-Cola :(
So I have bought three face masks (99p each) just to pamper my skin after a long day. I got two different makes of Dead Sea face masks just to see which one suited my skin properly. I also got a peel off mask because they're just fun to use aha. Does anyone else try to peel it all in one piece?
My skin is feeling rather dry due to the weather, eczema is a bitch in the summer. I use the body wash from Aveeno, it's a clear liquid and foams up when worked into wet skin. I've have no problem with the body wash, so I thought wouldn't the face cream must be good as well. Aveeno is known to be very beneficial for dry skin as it has Oatmeal. Oatmeal has soothing element which helps to relieve irritated skin. I bought the Moisturising Cream for £6.99, which is quite a bump but it's worth it due to the dryness of my skin.
I also said my skin is also breaking out so I needed a semi-heavy duty face wash to help get rid of excess bacteria which causes spots and huge breakouts. The reason why I bought this face wash is because of the Exfoliating Brush that comes with it. The soft yet ductile bristles help work with the skin and face wash and leave a clean and clear skin. I've always found that Garnier's Pure Active range works really well with my skin especially when I break out. (£5.05)
Last but not least, NAIL VARNISH! I am an addict to nail varnish especially the Barry M range. From the normal nail paint to the gellies! I found that the Gelly collection has a quite range of colours, from brights to pastels to the deep dark colours. I want to collect all of them even though some might not suit me. When I saw these two colours I was in love!! The boldness of the 'Blood Orange' was incredible I've never seen such a beautiful shade of red. Now the 'Lychee' is making me quite sceptical just because of all the swatches I've seen, have been either on a colour wheel or a paler skin tone. But it's a matter of trying it and wearing it for a while to get used to the colour.
I'll probably buy the Plum or Pomegranate next! Get your Gelly's in Superdrug now, they're are '2 for £6' at the moment. Get it quick!!

NOTW - Barry M, Berry Ice Cream
This week I was feeling kind of girly. I decided to paint them a pastel colour to brighten up any look without being out of my comfort zone of nail varnish colours. The 'Berry Ice Cream' from Barry M is the only shade of pastel that suits me well due to my darker complexion. the purple complements my skin tone as well as being one of my favourite colours ;)
I bought this nail varnish from Superdrug for £2.99! Go get yours!
